Tom de Hundt "Losing Faith"
Info:
Expo Tom de Hundt
Te bekijken tot september 2024
“Losing Faith” is an overview of about 20 works that show Tom de Hundt views on society, religion and the world around him. Consisting of paintings, drawings and woodcuts, with added art prints. In collaboration with skate shop Revert 95 there will also be a limited edition of printed skateboards and clothing available.
About Tom:
Heavily inspired by the Italian renaissance and the 20th century surrealism, the works of Tom de Hundt are an absurd, reflective and narrative representation of his own view on life. The absurdity of society, war, religion, history, music and film are what inspire him every day. Obsessed with the chiaroscuro of anti-hero Caravaggio and the colourful yet painful works of feminist and communist Frida Kahlo, De Hundt creates his own world and everyone is invited.
Besides an artist, Tom is also a skilful craftsman in the art of stretching canvas and framing artworks.
